Kosho Atari 2600

Hi,

This is a new game I am developing in collaboration with Team Moritz (still very alpha version so far) for Atari 2600 inspired by the game Kosho from The Prisoner (a 1967 TV Series).

This is a 2 players only game.

In this game the two players have to fight to push the opponent in the water tank in the middle of the screen. Every punch pushes the opponent and make the opponent falling from the upper level of the game. Every time a player falls in the water tank a point is added to the opponent (the two players have black and white helmet - the score follows the same colors).

The game can be played on the same machine directly on this page or running the attached kosho.a26 in a simulator (like Javatari or Stella).

When running the game on Javatari, it is possible, pressing the "power" button on the bottom left of the emulator, to select netplay. Then if a user types a session name and presses "host" button, another user in another place of the world can type the same session name, press "join" and the two users can play online (the host will control white player, the other user will control the black one).

As said the game is still in development and some parts are missing, but the game is kinda playable...

I wrote directly the main part of the assembly code for the game, but I have used AI to write some repetitive parts and to help organize the files.
