Cursed Village

You are doomed!! Your village is cursed. Several skeletons, coming from the land called Abyss of Death, have invaded your village and now you need a way to escape. A mystical portal can help but how to reach it? A magic potion can maybe help you. Can you survive and escape?

This is a game developed for the Metroidvania Month 22 Jam. It was developed in assembly. It is a NES game that can be played on the browser (only desktop, not mobile friendly) or you can download the .nes file and play on your favorite NES emulator (like fceux or Mesen for example). You can also play the game directly on your original Nintendo Entertainment System (I played the game on my original NES using the fantastic KrzysioCart).

Instructions:

(Please click on the game once to activate the keyboard)

JUMP - Spacebar (or NES controller button A)

MOVE - WASD or Arrow keys (or NES controller D-Pad)

ACTION - Left Control (or NES controller button B)

If the player dies or win the game after one second pressing one of the button to jump the game will restart
